The USS Bowfin itself is a refurbished WW II-era submarine that performed years of war service and you'll get a glimpse into the cramped but exciting life of a submariner. The park is open daily from 8 am to 5 pm, bu the last tour starts at 4:30 pm.
Waimea Canyon State Park, Kauai
Waimea Canyon State Park is located in Kauai and you'll find that the canyon is absolutely beautiful!You can take the drive along the canyon where you'll find some great lookout points where you can stop and enjoy the beautiful views.
You'll find a variety of hiking trails to enjoy, including trails for advanced hikers and those for beginning hikers as well. The largest canyon in the Pacific, this is truly a dramatic sight, especially on a 4,5 hours downhill bike tour!
