Who Else Wants Good Flights to Hawaii?

Hawaii is a long way from anywhere. Flights to Hawaii are 10.5 hours from New York, 9.5 hours from Atlanta, 9 hours from Chicago and 5 from the West coast cities. When you fly such long distances, you obviously want to be comfortable and well taken care off, to know you are flying safely and that your bags are going to be waiting for you.

So how do you find good Hawaii travel deals?

Flights To Hawaii

If you assume that smaller airlines will have better deals than larger airlines, think again!

More often than not, large airlines try to keep up with their smaller counterparts by offering prices just under the competition.

When this happens, you can end up landing a great travel deal.

Another good way to find great flights to Hawaii is to check the last minute deals. Here’s how this works.

It’s common practice for travel agencies to buy up a large number of seats on various airlines at a discount. However, this creates pressure to get the seats sold, so when it seems that travel numbers will fall below a certain anticipated figure, travel agents usually create cheap vacation packages to get the seats sold and avoid taking a loss.

How do you stay on top of the travel deals that are being offered?

A smart way is to check the local service provider, Hawaiian Air. With them, you get non-stop flights to Hawaii from more mainland U.S. gateways than any other airline. While most non-stop flights go to Honolulu, Hawaiian Air also flies directly to Kahului, Maui from Seattle and Portland.

Hawaiian Airlines also provide about 117 daily jet flights among the Hawaiian islands - in case you want to squeeze in as many sights as you can and consider island hopping.

When you package your inter-island travel with Hawaiian Air, you get big savings and the flexibility of staying at a beachfront resort one night and in a condo the next. You can choose to have different types of cars on different islands - a compact is good for zipping around Maui, but a jeep might be more suitable to fit in the hiking and camping gear in Kauai.

And if you’re too busy having fun to take care of bookings for dining, tours and all the other wild things to do in Hawaii, the Hawaiian Air concierge service will take the stress out making all the required reservations for you.

How convenient is that??

While shopping around the tour and activities operators may get you good travel deals on flights to Hawaii, hotels and cars, why not do it all at one stop? From budget to luxury, Hawaiian Airlines can do it all for you.

For example, you can build a package with three features, flight, hotel and car. Or, if you are renting a vacation home or condo for your family, your package may only consist of flight and car.

A package for 2, which includes a compact car, air fare from the West coast and 7 nights at a newly refurbished 3-star boutique hotel (like the Aqua Waikiki Wave in Honolulu), costs slightly more than $1,200 per person (or about $170/day per person).

Of course, prices are higher if you want more luxurious accommodation. At an all suite hotel like the 4-star Embassy Suites Hotel along Waikiki Beach, it will cost you around $1,500 per person for an ocean front view, full daily breakfast, in room coffee and tea, and lots more amenities.

All these examples to see that flights to Hawaii can be very affordable if you package them right and that Hawaii travel offers you many options to choose from.
